From
the year 2010 it will be compulsory for firms with up to
50 employees to complete their End of Year ( P35) Return
Online.
Between now and then the Inland Revenue are offering
incentives to employers if they complete these returns
online.
2004/2005 £250.00
2005/2006 £250.00
2006/2007 £150.00
2007/2008 £100.00
2008/2009 £ 75.00
These amounts can be deducted from the PAYE payment
or can be paid directly to the employer by cheque.
There
are many more PAYE activities that can be carried
out online by either employers or their Agents, such
as the submission of P45’s and P46’s,
payments of PAYE and NI, so cutting down on paperwork
and postage.
